This past fall, the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching affirmed our commitment to the community by awarding us with the Community Engagement Classification for both “Curricular Engagement” and “Outreach and Partnerships” – one of only 12 institutions in the state and 76 nationwide.
We added new faces to our outstanding faculty and staff , and we saw tremendous growth in our student population – achieving greater diversity and making Cal State San Marcos one of the five “hot” campuses in the CSU.
