For over 150 years, Saint Mary Seminary and Graduate School of Theology has been teaching and passing on the tradition of the Roman Catholic Church to hundreds and thousands of students. Saint Mary's has been training them as leaders in the Church and local community.

Saint Mary Seminary and Graduate School of Theology was founded by the first bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Cleveland, Louis Amadeus Rappe, in 1848. Since that time the seminary has faithfully pursued as its primary mission the education and formation of candidates for the Roman Catholic priesthood.
