At Sunstate Academy, quality instructors will train you to give professional manicures, giving you the grounding you need to pass state certification and obtain a job as a Nail Technician. A combination of theory and the practical experience of working on actual customers in a clinic make Sunstate Academy a great place to obtain your career training!
The Nail Technician program’s educational objective is to prepare students for entry-level positions as Nail Technicians. The student will learn how to:
perform manicures
perform pedicures
apply nail tips with acrylic overlay
apply sculptured nails using a form
perform nail wraps and mending
do fill-ins
remove artificial nails
apply polish
apply nail art
Upon graduation and state certification, students will be qualified for entry-level positions as Nail Technicians in full-service salons or nail salons, or to open their own salons for nail services.
