Cosmetology to Barber Crossover Training (750 Hours)

Cosmetology to Barber Crossover Training is designed to prepare cosmetologists for
the state board licensing exam in barbering. We offer training in barbering skills and
their practical applications, so you’ll be ready for entry-level employment in a
barbershop.

Opportunities for supervised practical work with the public are provided.

Your program hours will be divided as follows :

General Classes (150 Hours):
Barber laws, rules and regulations; barber implements;
history and fundamentals of barbering; shaving, honing, stropping and men’s
hairpieces; sales and services; haircutting; hairstyling; hair setting; preparations of
seeking employment and business management.

Physical Classes (600 Hours):
Haircutting (male and female), shaving
(beards and moustaches) and hairpiece fitting.
