International Travel and Tourism
The objective of this course is to prepare students for entry level employment and/or to provide supplementary training for persons previously or currently employed in this occupational area for careers in the travel and tourism industry with an emphasis on the American Airlines SABRE Reservations System.

Career Opportunities
Graduates will be prepared for entry level employment in the travel and tourism industry as Customer Service Representatives, Passenger Service Representatives, Reservation Sales Representatives, Agents and/or related occupations in travel agencies, hotels, car rental agencies, cruise lines and/or airlines.

Course Description
TRV1: is designed as an introduction to and overview of the industry. It includes hands-on comprehensive training with an emphasis on the American Airlines Sabre system. This course includes instruction in airline reservations, domestic airfares and ticketing, client profiles and invoices, itinerary and selling skills.
TRV2: is designed as hands-on comprehensive training with an emphasis on the American Airlines Sabre system. This course includes instruction in international air fares and ticketing, destination geography, car, rail, hotel, tours and cruises, customer service and career planning.
