Program Objective
The Multimedia Graphic Design program at EIT provides students with knowledge and skills in the latest multimedia technologies, software applications, and interactive environments.
Graphic design graduates may work in areas of print media, web design and development, or 3D animation. In print media, students develop skills using the latest versions of industry standard software such as QuarkXPress and Adobe CS2 (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign).
In web design and development, students learn to design, develop, set up, and maintain a website using up-to-date technologies including Macromedia DreamWeaver and Flash.
The 3D portion of the program uses Alias’ Maya software to create and animate students’ models using basic through advanced techniques of 3D animation. Graduation requirements include the completion of a student portfolio within a chosen area of concentration.
