Program Objective

This program provides the student with knowledge and skills in network and database management. Emphasis is placed on the design, installation, and maintenance of networks in a business environment. The students learn to install and upgrade software, create user accounts, perform back-up and recovery tasks, install and troubleshoot networks, and implement network security, as well as to program, setup, administer, maintain, and monitor databases. The curriculum includes training in designing, installing, configuring, and maintaining Cisco networks. Students learn to configure and connect Cisco switches and routers to support a broad range of protocols and technologies.
