    (Test of English as a Foregin Language)

    Who should take this course?
    Students planning to enter an American college or university and who need to improve their TOEFL® test score.

    Goal - To obtain a TOEFL® score showing a level of proficiency which will allow students to enter the college or university of their choice.

    Implementation -
    The TOEFL® classes consist of skill building exercises in listening, writing, reading and structure, as well as practice exams. Students are advised of college and university entrance requirements and TOEFL® levels.



    [B] TOEIC® Preparation
    (Test of English for International Communication)

    Who should take this course?
    Students or professionals needing proof of English language proficiency in the global workplace.

    Goal - Individual test-takers find the TOEIC® test an excellent tool to apply for new positions, obtain credentials and monitor their own improvement in English.

    Implementation -
    The TOEIC® courses prepare for the two-hour multiple-choice test that consists of 200 questions divided into a listening section and a reading section. The questions are based on real-life work settings in an international environment (meetings, travel, telephone, etc). The courses also include a sample TOEIC test to enable the student to identify weak points.

    [C] MELAB Preparation
    (Michigan English Language Assessment Battery)

    Who should take this course?
    For students seeking admission into selected educational institutions in the U.S. and Canada who accept the MELAB as an alternative to the TOEFL®.

    Goal - To obtain a general assessment of their English language proficiency for educational or employment opportunities (U.S. and Canada only).

    Implementation -
    The MELAB test preparation classes focus on the three different areas of the test: composition, listening and a written part containing grammar, vocabulary, and reading comprehension problems. The classes are aimed at the level of English a student might encounter in an American university setting.


    [D] GMAT® Preparation
    (Graduate Management Admission Test)

    Who should take this course?
    Students interested in entering a graduate program in an American university. This course is recommended for MBA candidates.

    Goal - To obtain a score on the GMAT® test that would allow the student to enter the graduate program in Business or Management of his/her choice.

    Implementation -
    This program is composed of courses providing students with study and test taking strategies. The classes prepare students for the analytical writing, verbal and quantitative sections of the test. Paper and computer practice are part of familiarizing the student with the official GMAT® test format.
